Maître Choux bakes fresh and colourful éclairs, choux and chouquettes all day from its new bakery boutique which opens in South Kensington today, thanks to Joakim Prat, a Michelin star pastry chef (formerly Head Pastry Chef for Joel Robuchon) who has a track record of 9 stars to his name. His creations are made on site and are loved for their expert freshness and crispiness. With the nation proving its love for donuts, cupcakes, whoopee pies and macarons in the last few years, éclairs are the next big thing and this place does them to perfection. Take-away or sit in and enjoy a pastry, in flavours like chocolate, strawberry, coffee, caramel, with a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate made with a legendary Basque recipe from Joakim’s grandmother.
