From Morgans Hotel Group comes Mondrian London, which officially opens its doors today. Designed by Tom Dixon, the hotel is set inside London’s famous Sea Containers House on South Bank, with 360 colourful rooms. Within the building is Sea Containers, a farm-to-table restaurant headed up by NYC native chef Seamus Mullen. Then there’s Dandelyan, a cocktail bar by Ryan Chetiyawardana aka MR. LYAN, whose bar White Lyan has won numerous awards; expect innovative cocktails inspired by botanicals from the British countryside and served from a 50 foot green marble bar. The hotel’s spacious rooftop, described by Dixon as ‘a bit Titanic’, opens next week. In the basement is the AGUA Bathhouse and Spa, as well as various meeting/conference rooms and a 56-seat screening room. Whatever floats your boat, it’s probably here.
