Just opened in Brixton is Naughty Piglets, a groovy neighbourhood restaurant and wine bar which serves an eclectic mix of wines alongside hearty, good-for-you dishes, many prepared with a charcoal grill. The modern European bistro comes from French wine specialist Margaux Aubry, formerly at Adam Byatt’s Trinity in Clapham, and her husband Joe Sharratt, also formerly at Trinity (the two met there and fell in love). Expect a laid-back vibe, a more-than-decent wine list and an ever-changing menu of wholesome dishes like clams with dash and chives; barbecued pork belly with Korean spices; grilled lamb with pistachio; followed by fresh pear and almond tart; fruit panna cotta; and an exemplary cheese board. Get piggy with it.
