Men’s Monday: Get The Look – Zayn Malik
POSTED ON- 13 May, 2013 BY:StyleCard
Like most boy bands each member has their own persona and Zayn Malik’s reputation is somewhat of a bad boy. With One Direction tipping the scales of boy band success and resulting in constant scrutiny from the media as well as a dedicated army of fans to please, all 5 of the boys must ensure that they look good at all time. Unlike the other boys, Zayn’s style pivots around street-wear but smartened up with a preppy edge.
Start the look with the Apliiq The Natives D Jacket; an undeniably individual handmade piece, at first glance this 100% cotton classic denim jacket may appear to be the norm, but a native Indian style screen print panelling upon the shoulders ensures that this is a one of a kind piece.
With such a detailed outerwear piece, keep the bones of the outfit simple; select the Humor Dean Jet Black Chino Jean in a straight leg cut from a thicker fabric and pair with the Scotch & Soda Deja Vu T-Shirt in chalk white. This piece is designed with a ribbed crew neckline and short sleeves, but adorned with a statement graphic print across the chest to add a little detail.
Choose the flawless suede brogue style mid boot from Façonnable to complete this look. This decadent piece features Ornamental brogue style perforations and thick laces over rich brown leather uppers with a chunky rubber sole. Finally, finish the ensemble with the Clout Magazine knit beanie, this basic piece is definitely an ideal accessory staple.
